  There is no proof that the Catherine CONNELLY who m. Joshua Frederick RAFUSE is Hannah Catherine (SARTY) CONNELLY. However . . .: a. After baptism, she is always seen as Catherine, which is the bride's given name in the marriage record b. There doesn't seem to be a CONNELLY of that vintage who carried Catherine as one of her given names; indeed, there were few CONNELLY's altogether in Lunenburg in the early 1800's c. Hannah Catherine SARTY and Thomas CONNELLY have only two children that I can find, the last being son Josiah, b. 26 Jul 1827, d. 6 Jul 1828, and so it looks suspiciously like one of Josiah's parents dies young. d.
