Notes - No record has been found to prove who his parents were. However, it is known that he lived and died in Blandford, which narrows down considerably the “available pool” of parents and promotes the family of Johannes and Marie Catherine (Conrad) Meisner to the position of prime candidates. The fact that Caspar's wife appears to be the half-sister of the husband of Mary Ann Meisner of Blandford, whose parents are known to be Johannes and Marie, seems to point even more strongly in this direction. And finally, he seems to fit perfectly into a gap in their birth order.
Given all that, I believe the probability is high that Caspar is the child of Johannes and Marie. [Bob H]
