Notes

Several records place the DOB of the Stephen VEINOT who m. Harriet Isabelle COCHRAN in Oct 1865, and the civil register is quite clear that the parents of Stephen 1865 and Stephen 1866 are Hibbert and Martha (HEBB) VEINOT. But this makes no sense, especially since there is no trace of Stephen 1866 after his birth. I suspect that either one of the Stephen's was record twice or the first Stephen died in infancy and the name was reused.
