• Notes

  Farnam shows his birth as 19 Jan 1851, which would make him the child of Maria McNeal. However, the Census shows him as born 1856, his tombstone inscription shows him as born 1858, and his wife is born 1862. At the moment, I am somewhat skeptical of Farnam's DOB, but it does seem likely that he was the child of Maria. [Bob H]
