  Notes	Although the day and year of marriage are clear, the month of marriage is almost illegible in the Annapolis Township book. The last letter of the month is partially legible and appears to resemble the letter “b” observed in this writer's hand on adjacent pages of the book. Also,, it seems to be followed by a period, just before “31” is written. From this and from the spacing taken on the line by the month, which is consistent with the abbreviation “Octob.” used elsewhere by this writer on adjacent pages, I believe the month of marriage was most likely entered as “Octob.”.
