Notes - There are two Susanna HUBLEY's of approximately the same age born in Lunenburg County around 1830---Susanna 1825, d/o Alexander 1788 and Maria Elizabeth (CORKUM) HUBLEY and Susanna 1830, d/o John Jacob 1794 and Anna Barbara (HIRTLE) HUBLEY. Apparently, since they both cannot be having children in two different places by two different husbands at the same time, one of them marries James STOREY and moves to the St. Margaret's Bay area, while the other marries Daniel HIMMELMAN and remains in Lunenburg. The problem is--which is which.
In the family of John Jacob, only one known child leaves Lunenburg County for SMB, and that is son David, who establishes himself at French Village. Further, the 1901 Census reports the DOB of the Susanna who marries Daniel HIMMELMAN as 06 Apr 1829 , which matches (given the accuracy of the Census), the 26 Apr 1830 DOB of Susanna, d/o John Jacob.
In the family of Alexander, two of his known daughters, Barbara and Elizabeth, who happen to be the closest in age to daughter Susanna, move to SMB--Elizabeth to Mason's Point, and Barbara to Black Point. Second, after Alexander's death, his wife Mary Elizabeth moves to Black Point, where she dies in 1867. And third, in the 1871 Census, Isabel STOREY, d/o James and Susanna [see Isabel's marriage record], is living at Black Point.
So, based on the available evidence, it would appear that it is Susanna 1825, not Susanna 1830, who marries James STOREY, and Susanna 1830 who marries Daniel HIMMELMAN. [Bob H]
