  His tombstone inscription states that he was born 31 Mar 1893. However, the 1901 Census has him born 30 Mar 1892 and that his Elva born 18 Aug 1893. Thus either his tombstone inscription is wrong or his sister's DOB is wrong. As tombstones are notoriously inaccurate as regards DOB, for the moment I choose to believe the Census. [Bob H]
