There is no known proof that Madeline MOSHER is the d/o this Myrtle MOSHER, but the circumstantial evidence seems strong enough to carry her her as as such.

First, it seems clear from her MA birth record that she is the illegitimate daughter of someone named Myrtle MOSHER. Second, at marriage she does not list a father, but does list a guardian, one Ernest Blair and states that her father was born Halifax, NS; whether this is her biological father's or her guardians birth place, this and the fact that she lives in Truro establishes her connection to NS. Third, there is only one Myrtle MOSHER of NS who cannot be ruled out as her mother, and this Myrtle MOSHER marries a Nova Scotian with a Massachusetts connection at age 57 (her first marriage). And finally, at birth, Madeline is given the middle name Hattie, which is the first name [Hettie] of this Myrtle MOSER's mother.
