[3] Notes - The death notice for Jennie HUBLEY states that she leaves a husband and 9 children. This count appears to be accurate as it agrees with the obit of daughter Laura May, who has two living sisters and six that predeceased her. However, nothing is known of two of these sisters. For that number to be accurate, the two children would have to be born between Apr 1891 and Apr 1892, as they were living in 1892 but not recorded in the 1891, 1901, or 1911 Census. It is also possible that they were taken in by some other family and appear there as natural daughters.
A potential daughter named Isabel HUBLEY b. Oct 1891, appears with the family in the 1911 Census. However, we know that Belle Robertine HUBLEY survives to 1954 and is a maiden lady who lives "at home". Also, we know she lives with her grandfather in 1901. If Isabel and Belle are two separate persons, where is Belle in the 1911 census? Oct 1891 is different than Aug 1889, but given the vagaries of the census (especially the 1911), those dates seem close enough. So I think this is really Belle Robertine HUBLEY.
